One of the longest running sports events in the sporting calendar is the St Albans Half Marathon which is now in its 34th year and continually raises a large amount of money for local charities. The event offers something for everyone of all ages and abilities with the half marathon, walking half marathon, a 5k race and 1.5 mile children’s fun run. So with lovely parks and great sports facilities, there's is no excuse to spend too much time on the sofa when you live in St Albans.
