Stuart entered the property scene in 2001, joining one of the UK’s largest estate agencies. After nearly a decade of hard work and rising to Partner level, Stuart realised it was time to take his career to the next level. In 2011, he co-founded Cassidy & Tate with his business partner, David Tate, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his career.

After almost 19 years of experience in Marshalswick, selling local homes and building strong relationships with clients, Stuart shifted his focus in 2020 to launch the Land Department within Cassidy & Tate. This is where Stuart truly came into his own, quickly becoming one of the leading Land Directors in the area. He now deals with a range of new homes sites and off-market land sales, helping both buyers and developers navigate the complexities of land transactions.

Stuart is known for his deep expertise, his exceptional client service, and his ability to make deals happen. Whether it’s land or property, his dedication to delivering results sets him apart in the local market.

Outside of work, Stuart enjoys life to the fullest with his wife Frances and their two young children (aged 3 and 4). When he has some free time, you’ll likely find him on the golf course, perfecting his swing.

After graduating from Buckinghamshire University, David started his career working for a large national Estate Agency in St Albans and then an independent Estate Agent. David has built up an outstanding knowledge of all aspects of the Sales and Lettings industry within St Albans. With high levels of expertise, he has earned an enviable and dynamic reputation alongside a successful proven track record. David is truly local, having attended primary and secondary schools in St. Albans. He is well travelled, enjoys many sporting activities and has been involved with notable charity events.

Nick has lived in Harpenden and latterly Wheathampstead for over 30 years. He went to Roundwood Park school and has been in the property industry since completing his education in 1994. He started as a junior negotiator in Hemel Hempstead and worked there for three years before moving to Harpenden in 1997. In 2003 he set up his own business in Wheathampstead and has gone from strength to strength offering high levels of customer service. Many vendors have come back to Nick time and again over the years. He has a vast depth of knowledge and experience covering both residential sales and lettings.

Having gained a degree in 1987 Kris joined a highly successful Independent Estate Agency in Buckinghamshire. After a number of years managing ‘High End’ offices around The Chalfonts area Kris moved to St Albans where he spent nearly 10 years before setting up his own business. Having sold the business Kris was delighted to be back in St Albans which he considers to be a vibrant, charming and interesting city, which is a wonderful place to work in.  With over 30 years experience his knowledge and understanding of the property market is invaluable when dealing with delicate negotiations and looking after what is usually someones  greatest asset. Outside of work Kris enjoys spending time with his family, walking along The Downs, travelling, and supporting his football club which will remain anonymous!

Having worked in the lettings business for over 9 years, Gemma has obtained an immense knowledge within this industry. In 2008 Gemma joined a St. Albans based estate agents as a senior lettings negotiator, where after 2 years, Gemma’s zeal, diligence and comprehension, consolidated with exceptional results, gained her the position of Lettings Manager within the Harpenden Branch. Gemma prides herself on providing an efficient and high level of customer service to both Landlords and Tenants. Born & educated in St. Albans, Gemma later moved to Harpenden with her family. She now resides in Markyate, where when not working, she can be found caring for her 2 year old daughter.

I’ve been with Cassidy & Tate for over a decade, starting as a junior negotiator and progressing to my current role as Associate Director of Sales. During that time, I’ve worked across a wide range of property types and market conditions, always with the same goal: to deliver a tailored, hands-on service that puts the client first.

What sets my approach apart is the level of personal involvement I maintain throughout every stage of the sales process. I provide honest and informed advice, and stay closely involved right through to completion. For me, offering a bespoke service means being available, responsive, and adapting to the specific needs of each client — whether they’re selling a first home or a long-held family property.

I grew up in Harpenden and now live in St Albans, so I bring a genuine understanding of the local area and its communities. I’m proud to have built long-standing relationships with clients, many of whom return or refer others based on their experience working with me.

Jacqui moved to Wheathampstead in 1988 and got married at St.Helens Church. She has two children that were educated locally and has a vast network of friends. Having moved three times within the village Jacqui is well qualified to answer any questions on the local schools and facilities. Indeed she is a keen tennis player and is a member of the local club.

Laura started her career in land and development in 2015 and has worked for one of the market leading retirement specialists for the majority of that time acquiring land across the East of England, predominantly focusing on the home counties.

Having grown up in Rickmansworth where she still resides, she has a thorough local knowledge of Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.

Clare works within the property management department at Cassidy & Tate, supporting tenants with any issues in their rentals and liaising closely with landlords to keep everything running smoothly. She enjoys working as part of a team and loves that no two days in the role are ever the same. As a Mum of twins, she’s well practiced in juggling a busy work-life balance! A lifelong St Albans resident, Clare appreciates the variety the city has to offer, from its beautiful walks to its many restaurants and bars. Amar became fully qualified to give advice and recommendations on Mortgages and Protection in 2005. Now with over 20 years of experience in the industry Amar has decided to return to the City where it all started for him. His love for St Albans has brought him back and he is also now looking to settle in the city with his wife and two young children. After working through the booming market years in St Albans and in London during the recession, Amar has gained exceptional experience and lender knowledge due to the diversity of clients he has helped over the years. Helena has been working in the St Albans property market for over 15 years; there isn’t a school catchment, Ofsted rating or parking condition she could not tell you about.

Frances has over 30 years experience in the bookkeeping business which started in a small local company 26 years ago. Frances started with C & T in 2012 and has become a fundamental instrument within the company working between the office and home. She was born in London and raised in Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield  where she now resides with her husband, pet cat and five chickens! Frances has one daughter who lives close by. When not applying her bookkeeping skills Frances can be found in the garden, and has a keen interest in genealogy.

St Albans-born Sarah has built an impressive career in the property industry spanning more than 20 years, establishing herself as a highly experienced and knowledgeable professional across both the sales and lettings sectors.  She began her career with a market-leading estate agency, initially working in residential sales and developing strong relationships with homeowners, buyers and property investors.

She later moved into lettings, progressing through a variety of roles and gaining extensive experience across landlord services, property management and investment portfolios. Her expertise and leadership skills saw her progress into senior management positions, giving her a broad and well-rounded understanding of the property market.

In 2024, Sarah joined Cassidy & Tate as Associate Director, heading up the lettings department and bringing with her a wealth of industry knowledge, strategic insight and a genuine passion for property.  Her experience across both sales and lettings enables her to offer clients considered, informed advice, whether they are landlords, investors, tenants or homeowners. Having grown up in Marshalswick and attended local schools, Skyswood and Sandringham, Sarah has a lifelong connection to St Albans.  She continues to live locally with her husband and two daughters and remains deeply rooted in the community.

Steve Oliver has had an impressive and steady climb through the London property market!

From his early days in West London residential sales to becoming a Director at Paramount Properties, he clearly built a solid foundation in land and investments.

His transition into development with Linea Homes and eventually founding Fortress Land & Property shows a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a deep understanding of the full property lifecycle.

On a more personal note, Steve is an Arsenal supporter, he enjoys eating out and travelling.

Jane joins Cassidy and Tate’s Marketing and Social Media team, bringing with her over 15 years of experience together with a genuine connection to the local area.

Having attended Sandringham School and now living in Wheathampstead, Jane and her family have strong roots within St Albans and the surrounding villages, giving her an excellent understanding of the communities and lifestyle we represent.

Jane will play an important role in developing Cassidy and Tate’s visual marketing and social media presence, with a particular focus on creating engaging property content, professional property tours and video marketing. Working closely with our sales, lettings and New Homes teams, she will help showcase our properties through high quality, creative content designed to capture both the home itself and the lifestyle that comes with it.

With property marketing becoming increasingly visual, Jane’s role will further strengthen the way Cassidy and Tate presents our clients homes across social media and digital platforms, bringing properties to life and helping them reach the widest possible audience.
